2017 WWE Backlash (SmackDown)

WWE (World) Championship
Randy Orton (C) vs Jinder Mahal w/Singh Bros.
>now onto the second title contest with an unusual contender except that Vince loves his muscle guys like Jinder. The jacked up one as I have been calling Mahal certainly provides someone different for the time being. He will give Randy a good showing before one RKO outta nowhere does him in and Orton defends the WWE's top prize.

United States Championship
Kevin Owens (C) vs AJ Styles
>well these two former indy darlings will be meeting for the first time here in WWE. If they want to keep this program going then expect Owens to defend so that Styles can win the title the next time around.

SmackDown Tag-Team Championship
Jimmy & Jey (The Usos) (C) vs Tyler Breeze & Fandango (Breezango)
>in the first of two match with off normal challengers can Breezango really be considered solid title contenders? I hope so because it will help keep things interesting in the tag team scene. Still expect The Usos to defend the titles here.

6 Woman Tag Match
Women's Champion Naomi, Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair vs Natalya, Tamina and Carmella w/Ellsworth
>well the Welcoming Committee has been doing a good job of get wins and under the skin of the faces. Hopefully Becky can truly unite her side and allow them to win this 6 woman contest.

Sami Zayn vs Baron Corbin
>so Sami asked for this match after the attacks by Corbin since the superstar shake-up. Unfortunately for Zayn the beatings will continue by Baron as he gets the win in this match. Next one goes to Sami.

Luke Harper vs Erick Rowan
>this rumored match pits two former original Wyatt Family members with Harper looking for redemption after Rowan got the win on last week's SmackDown. I expect he will get some tonight via a discus punch and a win.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs Dolph Ziggler
>this "debut" for Nakamura on the main roster should show everyone his potential that those of us who watch NXT, like myself, already know. He will get the win in a great back and forth contest with Ziggler.

Kick-Off Match
"Perfect 10" Tye Dillinger vs Aiden English
>this third match between these two should still be another victory for Dillinger just so long as English doesn't break down again post match with a good "cry." May be he will snap and try to take out Tye like he really should.
