>while Itami came back strong and gave Roode a GTS to help initiate this feud, it will likely be short lived as Roode retains the NXT title here in this one.
NXT Tag-Team Championship (Ladder Match)
Akam & Rezar (Authors of Pain) (C) w/P. Ellering vs Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa (#DIY)
>so with this being a ladder match and both Authors members are well above 300 pounds this seems tailor made for the tag titles to go back to #DIY. That is what I expect to happen and really hope does so that we can move on from the AoP for awhile.
NXT Women's Championship (Triple Threat Match)
Asuka (C) vs Nicky Cross vs Ruby Riot
>well after Ember Moon was legit injured when Asuka attacked the three remaining ladies in the #1 contender's battle royal this had to be trimmed down to a triple threat. I would say that Cross and Riot will basically cancel each other out allowing Asuka to retain.
WWE United Kingdom Championship
Tyler Bate (C) vs Pete Dunne
>this is the rematch of the finals of the tournament and the match I've been anticipating for some time. Tyler will give it his all to retain but I believe this time Dunne will be ready and become the new U.K. Champion!
Roderick Strong vs Eric Young w/Sanity
>after the viscous attack by Sanity on Roddy recently I should've seen this match coming. I expect some retribution by Strong to Young but Sanity prevents him from gaining the victory in this contest.
