"Hangman" Adam Page vs Chris Jericho
>this is going to be a battle between putting over a young upcoming talent and a crafty veteran who has been putting on great matches for years. I like the idea of both as AEW first champion but I hope they choose wisely. I am going with Jericho to be that man.
Kenny Omega vs "Bastard" Pac
>well with Pac having to replace the injured Jon Moxley this match got less interesting but not without some intrigue. Anyway I expect Omega picks up the win in this one now.
"American Nightmare" Cody w/Brandi Rhodes vs Shawn Spears w/Tully Blanchard
>this is now the most intriguing match on the card due to them being partners back when training in OVW. Now due to the chair shot that drew blood on Cody, Spears is a hot talent. I hope that with Tully's assistance that Shawn goes over so that they continue this feud as AEW debuts on TNT on 10/2.
Cracker Barrel Clash/Triple Threat Match
"Bad Boy" Joey Janela vs Jimmy Havoc vs Darby Allin
>these guys formed a three man team that fell apart after the lost the contest at Fyter Fest. Now they go at it to prove who is the best as part of the now sponsored triple threat match. If anyone needs this more I believe it's Jimmy Havoc so I will go with him for the win.
AAA World Tag-Team Championship/Ladder Match
Rey Fenix & Penta El Zenta M (Lucha Bros) (C) vs Matt & Nick Jackson (Young Bucks)
>these two teams have traded wins in their last matches with the Bucks defending at Dbl or Nothing then the Lucha Bros winning the titles back in Mexico. I hope and expect, despite Fenix coming in slightly hurt, that they defend again here in the ladder match.
Chuck Taylor & Trent Berretta (Best Friends) vs Evil Uno & Stu Grayson (Dark Order)
Winners receive 1st round bye in AEW World Tag-Team tournament
>the numbers game is in favor of the Dark Order so give them the win here.
Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen (Private Party) vs Angelico & Jack Evans
>these two teams should tear it up here and hopefully see the winner put themselves in better position in the Tag title tourney with Private Party winning.
Riho vs Hikaru Shida
>this contest of two of the top women in Japan should help clarify more of other top contenders for the Women's title so expect Shida to win.

>I have a tough time picking a favorite here because the obvious would be Kong but in the end I see Britt Baker winning to be one of the top contender's to be AEW's fist women's champion.
